EASY STEPS TO MAKE ANTI VIRUS TESTER
To try out the effectiveness of anti-virus installed on the computer, we can make a tester file containing the virus code, so that when run, should have an antivirus program can detect and remove it. But you need not fear, because we will create a virus that is not a virus that can disrupt or damage your computer even though the antivirus program can not detect it.
The virus tester code was developed by EICAR (European Institute for Computer Anti-Virus Research).
Here are the steps to make the anti-virus tester:
1. The first step, run the Notepad program.
2. Copy the code below and paste into Notepad.

3. Save the file with the name EICAR.COM. by clicking the File menu> Save As. In the Save As dialog box, select the Save As Type> All Files. Then type eicar.com
Then click the Save button.
4. Open Windows Explorer, double-click the file to run anti-virus tester. If the real-time scan feature on your antivirus running, then it should be able to be detected, which is marked by the emergence of a message that is found / detected virus.
